Children ages 6 - 12 years will learn the skills of Traditional Uechi-ryu Karate, while increasing their physical fitness and learning the disciplines of a martial art.
Participants aged 13 years and older will train in the Martial art of Uechi-ryu Karate. Participants will benefit from improved mental and physical enhancement.
Kobudo, literally translated, means the "old martial way." However, when we use the term kobudo we refer to weapons. More precisely, the weapons that Ryukyu Kobudo describes are the weapons used by the people of Okinawa in feudal times.
